Description of key information

Schnurstein 2004. Acute Toxicity Zebra Fish, OECD 203: LC50(96h) = 5.4 mg/L
Bjornestad 1993. Acute Toxicity Zebra Fish, OECD 203: LC50(96h) >5 - <10 mg/L
Jung 1987. Acute Toxicity Leuciscus idus, OECD 203: LC50(96h) = 3.3 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

LC50 for freshwater fish:
5.4 mg/L

Additional information

Results of 3 acute fish toxicity studies are available. Two of them were made with the common laboratory species Zebra fish. The results are nearly identical. Therefore the LD50 of 5.4 mg/L is selected for further calculations.
