Henry's law constant
Type of information:
calculation (if not (Q)SAR)
Remarks:
Migrated phrase: estimated by calculation
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Scientifically acceptable method
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Calculation using SRC HENRYWIN v3.10
GLP compliance:
no
H:
0.273 Pa m³/mol
Temp.:
25 °C
Conclusions:
The substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface.
Executive summary:

In this study conducted to generally accepted scientific standards the test material (EC 231-272-0) was determined to have a Henry's law constant of 0.273 Pa*m3/mol

Description of key information

Study conducted to generally recognised scientific standards

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0.273
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In a HENRYWIN v3.20 calculation (BASF SE, 2010) a Henry's law constant of 0.273 Pa*m3/mol was determined. Therefore, the test substance does not evaporate from the water surface to the air.
