-Artificial respiration with respiration bag or respirator

· After inhalation:

-Take affected persons into fresh air and keep quiet.

-Seek medical treatment.

· After skin contact:

-Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

-If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

· After eye contact:

-Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

· After swallowing:

-Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water.

-Vomiting, possible danger of aspiration, keep breathing passages free

-Induce vomiting only, if affected person is fully conscious.

-Seek medical treatment.

· Information for doctor:

-Treat symptomatically

· Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

-Wear fully protective suit.

-Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

-Self-contained respiratory protective device.

· Additional information : CEFIC-ERI-Card No.: 6-03 , HIN 60

Accidental release measures

· Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

-Use respiratory protective device against the effects of fumes/dust/aerosol.

-Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

-Keep away from ignition sources.

· Environmental precautions:

-Do not allow to penetrate the ground/soil.

-Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

· Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

-Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust).

-Dispose contaminated material as waste according to disposal considerations.

-Ensure adequate ventilation.

· Reference to other sections : Contain bigger quantities and pump into suitable receptacle.

Handling and storage

· Handling:

· Precautions for safe handling

-Keep receptacles tightly sealed.

-Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.

-Wear suitable respiratory protective device when decanting larger quantities without extractor facilities.

-Prevent formation of aerosols.

· Information about fire - and explosion protection:

-Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.

-Protect from heat.

· Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

· Storage:

· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles:

-Store in a cool location.

-Store only in the original receptacle.

-Sensitive to light, air and heat.

-Due to photo-sensitivity, store product in brown-glass or stainless steel receptacles.

-Provide solvent resistant, sealed floor.

-Make available only for skilled personal.

· Information about storage in one common storage facility : Do not store together with strong acids, alkalines and oxidation agents

· Further information about storage conditions:

-Protect from exposure to the light.

-Store in nitrogen.

-Changes colour under influence of light.

-Keep container tightly sealed.

· Maximum storage temperature : 10 °C

· Recommended storage temperature : At 0 °C to 5 °C

· Specific end use(s) : No further relevant information available.
