No data on the biodegradation of the test substance in soil are currently available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

No data on the biodegradation of the test item in soil are available. However, further biotic degradation testing shall be proposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further degradation of the substance and its degradation products. The test substance was found to be moderately biodegradable (30 – 40% degradation after 28 days in an OECD 301F study and 20 - 30% degradation after 28 days in an ISO14593 study) in two ready biodegradability studies. It is assumed that simulation studies in soil would not reveal any different findings. Therefore, simulation studies in soil are not performed.
