- Conclusions:
- The EC0 for Daphnia magna was determined to be 100 mg/L (i.e. ca. 96 mg a.i./L). The EC50 and EC100 were both >100 mg/L (i.e. ca. >96 mg a.i./L).
- Executive summary:
A study was conducted to evaluate the acute toxicity of the test substance (at ca. 96 % purity) to Daphnia magna. Groups of 20 daphnids were exposed at 0, 0.39, 1.56, 6.3, 25 or 100 mg/L for 48 h.
No significant effects were seen on mobility throughout the study. Sedimentation of the test substance was observed as of 6.3 mg/L. The EC0 was determined to be 100 mg/L (i.e. ca. 96 mg a.i./L). The EC50 and EC100 were both >100 mg/L (i.e. ca. >96 mg a.i./L).
