Description of key information

Stability: Hydrolysis: Data waiving (study not technically feasible): The substance is an UVCB substance and it is not possible to determine the hydrolysis. It should be pointed out that hydrolytic stability is a required function of the substance as water is used as a solvent and storage medium.

Biodegradation in water: Key study: OECD Guideline 301F. GLP Study. Test item was considered not to be readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in sediments and soil: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the chemical safety assessment indicates no need to investigate further the degradation of the substance and its degradation products. Furthermore, direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely.

Bioaccumulation aquatic/sediment: Data waiving (study scientifically not necessary/other information available): : In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (Log Kow < 3).

Transport and distribution: Adsoprtion/desorption: Data waiving (study scientifically not necessary/other information available): In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is expected to have a low potential for adsorption (Log Kow < 3).
