Description of key information

The test substance is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria. It is poorly biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

In a CO2 evolution test performed according to OECD guideline 301B the biodegradation of the test substance was investigated (BASF SE 2009). After 28 days approximately 17% of the test substance were biodegraded. Therefore, the test substance is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
