Screening evaluation

Analysis of the molecular structure of Disperse Red 302:1 revealed, that no chemical alert structures associated with explosive properties are present in the molecule.

The oxygen balance was calculated to be -181.22 and therefore slightly higher than the trigger value of -200.

Determination of the exothermic decomposition energy

The curve displayed one exothermic peak with a total energy release of 44 J/g up to 350 °C. As a result the energy release was below a critical trigger level of 500 J/g with the onset of energy release being below 500 °C.
