First-aid measures

Inhalation: If adverse effects occur, remove to uncontaminated area. Give artificial respiration if not breathing. Get immediate medical attention.

Skin: Wash skin with soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Thoroughly clean and dry contaminated clothing and shoes before reuse.

Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.

Ingestion: If swallowed, get medical attention.

Most Important Symptoms and Effects, both Acute and Delayed:

Acute: No information on significant adverse effects.

Delayed: No information on significant adverse effects.

Indication of any Immediate Medical Attention and Special Treatment Needed: No special instructions.

Note to Physicians: No special instructions.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable Extinguishing Media:

Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, foam, water spray.

Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: None known

Special Hazards Arising from the Substance or Mixture: Negligible fire and explosion hazard in bulk form. Upon decomposition, this product emits carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and/or low molecular weight hydrocarbons.

Advice for Firefighters: Fire Fighting Measures: Move container from fire area if it can be done without risk. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard area and deny entry.  Use extinguishing agents appropriate for surrounding fire. Avoid inhalation of material or Stay upwind and keep out of low areas.

Protective Equipment and Precautions for Firefighters: Wear full protective fire fighting gear including self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) for protection against possible exposure.

Accidental release measures

Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment and Emergency Procedures:

Wear personal protective clothing and equipment, see Exposure Controls/Personal Protection. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard area and deny entry. Collect spillage. In case of spillage, stop the flow of material and block any potential routes to water systems. Avoid release to the environment. Only personnel trained for the hazards of this material should perform clean up and disposal.

Environmental Precautions: Do not flush into sanitary sewer systems, drains or surface water. Avoid release to the environment.

Methods and Material for Containment and Cleaning up: In case of spillage, stop the flow of material and block any potential routes to water systems.

Handling and storage

Precautions for Safe Handling:

Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Keep away from all ignition sources. Always wear recommended personal protective equipment.

Conditions for Safe Storage, Including any Incompatibilities:

Store in a cool, dry place. Store in a well-ventilated area. Keep separated from incompatible substances. Keep separated from incompatible substances. Store and handle in accordance with all current regulations and standards.
