Description of key information

Vapour pressures of various dialkyldimethylammonium chlorides were estimated using the modified Grain Method at 25°C. Results indicate that the vapour pressure of dialkyldimethylammonium chlorides are negligible. (vp < 10-8 Pa)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressures of dialkyldimethylammonium chlorides were calculated using MPBPWIN v1.42 (modified grain method). Results indicate that the vapour pressures of dialkyldimethylammonium chlorides are negligible. This conclusion is in line with the existing risk assessment report for DODMAC (CAS-No. = 107-64-2)
