Additional information

A bibliographic study was made using different sources:

- in the Merck Index, the boiling point of MITC is about 119°C

- in 8 publications referenced in ACS, we found about 117-119°C.

- and according to Degussa (1981), boiling point of MITC (methyl isothiocyanate) is about 119°C.

Finally a study was made by Hundington on behalf of MLPC using a GLP method (OECD 103) with the Swiloboff method, and they found a boiling point of MITC equals to 119°C at 1013 hPa.
