Methyl Propyl Ketone (MPK) is readily biodegradable. In addition it has a very low octanol-water partition coefficient (log Pow) and therefore is expected to have a low adsorption/desorption coeffient (log Koc) and would not be expected to sorb to soils or sediment or bioaccumulate in aquatic, sediment, or terrestrial organisms.
