Description of key information

Henry’s Law Constant for Stearic acid, esters with methyl α-D-glucoside was calculated using EpiWeb v4.00, HENRYWIN v3.20 (bond method). The calculation yielded 9E-09 Pa * m³/mol, 1E-08 Pa * m³/mol, 7E-08 Pa * m³/mol and 4E-04 Pa * m³/mol at 25°C for the mono-, di-, tri- and tetraester, respectively. The calculated Henry's Law Constants indicate that the substance can be regarded as non-volatile from aqueous solution. For safety assessment the worst case (here: tetraester) is used.

Due to missing information about the applicability of the calculation model in respect to the substance under investigation the results should be treated with care.
