Description of key information

In contact with water the substance will hydrolyse slowly.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The hydrolysis behavior of the test substance was investigated in a guideline study according to OECD 111 (BASF SE 12L00211, 2013). The half-lives of the test substance at pH 4, 7 and 9 at the temperatures 20 °C and 25°C were calculated from measured values at the respective pH values and temperatures ranging from 30°C to 70°C. The resulting half-lives range from 14 hours (at pH 9 and a temperature of 25°C) to 2015 hours (at pH 4 and a temperature of 20°C). Therefore, the test substance is considered to hydrolyse slowly in contact with water.
