Description of key information

No data on the long-term toxicity of the test substance on fish is available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of the test substance. The L(E)C 50 values for fish, algae and daphnids exceeded the range of water solubility (about 1 µg/L, based on the determination in the framework of an acute toxicity study on daphnids) of the tested item in all cases. The NOECs on the reproduction of algae and daphnids in a long term study was determined to be greater than the water solubility of the substance, too.

Therefore, and for reasons of animal welfare, a long term study in fish is not provided.
