Additional information

The degradation behaviour of the substance has been extensively investigated in several biodegradation tests. The objective of the studies was to determine the metabolic pathway, degradation rate and half-life of the substance under aerobic and anaerobic conditions in soil and the degradation rate in water. The substance is not expected to adsorb to suspended solids and sediment based upon the Koc of 7.9 to 75.4 mL/g and was rapidly degraded in soil with a half life in the range of 2.3 to 10.6 days at 20°C. The degradation in water was 30 % after 28d.Therefore, the substance is not expected to be persistent and a further test about biodegradation in a water/ sediment is not required.
