NOEC of the test substance was determined to be 160 g a.i./ha.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One plant study is available for the substance (Bach, 2010), the study was conducted in accordance with the prevailing OECD testing guidelines (OECD 208) and GLP. This study revealed no phytotoxicity symptoms as a result of a soil application of 160g a.i./ha test item. Emergence forAlilum cepa was increased by 6.9% in comparison to the untreated control. Survival was increased by 0.4%. Shoot length was reduced by 6.6% which was statistically not significant. Shoot dry weight, with 11.8% reduction was also statistically not significant. There was no effect on growth stage development in comparison to the control. The test substance shows no toxic effects on seedling emergence and growth.
