Additional information

A study was conducted (BASF AG J.Nr. 33-746) to determine the vapour pressure of the test item. Therefore the vapour pressures at different temperature were measured and a vapour pressure curve was plotted. The vapour pressure was determined to be 132.4 hPa at 24.7 °C and 398.3 hPa at 51.5 °C. Using the Antoine equation the vapour pressure at 20°C and 50 °C were calculated to be 107.46 hPa and 376.14 hPa respectively. In addition the GESTIS database reports the vapour pressure to be 100 hPa at 20 °C and 370 hPa at 50 °C. Furthermore the SRC PhysProp database reports the vapour pressure to be 133 hPa at 25 °C. Thus the experimental determined values just as the calculated values were supported by the literature values. Thus, the values were regarded as reliable and 107.46 hPa at 20 °C was chosen as key value for chemical risk assessment.
