Lead titanium trioxide is solid and inorganic compond used as a yellow powder. Its melting point was found at 1756°C according to the determination of the melting point by TG-DTA and its relative mean density value was 8.149 ± 0.012 at approximately 20°C. The particle size of the powder is not easily determined. Based on electron-microscopic examination an average size of 0.2 µm was found, but using laser diffraction a mean diameter of 3.761 µm was found with a 10-90 % range of 1.314 µm to 8.612 µm

Further, lead titanium trioxide tends to form aggregates with diameters ranging between 20 µm and 32 µm (based on the seaving method).

The apparent solubility of lead titanium trioxide at 20 °C was 0.078 mg/L based on the average of three samples taken at 24, 48 and 72 hour. It does not have a self-ignition temperature up to 422°C (corrected value). The test item was not considered as highly flammable under the experimental conditions. Lead titanium trioxide was not considered to have oxidizing properties and does not contain any chemical groups associated with explosive properties.

The studies of boiling point and vapor pressure were scientifically unjustified because the melting point is higher than 300°C.

Lead titanium has a water solubility well below 1 mg/L, which permits the waiving of the surface tension study. In addition, the substance is inorganic so there is no need to perform partition coefficient and flash point experiments.
