A GLP-compliant guinea-pig maximisation test was carried out in accordance with internationally accepted guidelines (Griffon, 2000d).  The test item induced skin sensitisation in 20% of animals, i.e. less than the 30% classification threshold.  On this basis, it is concluded that Bordeaux Mixture is not classified as a sensitiser.
