Adsorption / desorption:

Adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected. For 2,5 -dihydrofuran log Koc values were calculated to be 1.03 and 1.09 based on the MCI method and log Kow method of EPISuite, respectively.

The substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface. For 2,5 -digydrofuran the Henry's law constant was calculated to be 5.97 Pa·m³/mol based on the Bond Contribution Method.

Distribution of the substance to the different environmental compartments was estimated using a MacKay level I simulation. Based on the chemical properties of the uncharged molecule, the substance is expected to partition entirely to air (100%).
