Description of key information

No data available. The chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates no need to investigate further the effects on aquatic organisms.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, 9.1, long-term toxicity testing shall be proposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further the effects on aquatic organisms. The quantitative risk assessment for DMAMP shows that all relevant uses are safe for the aquatic environment, i.e. PEC/PNEC freshwater < 1 for relevant exposure conditions. Long-term testing of aquatic invertebrates is therefore not required. Furthermore, the short-term data, available for all three trophic levels, all indicate very low toxicity, with LC/EC50 values of 230 mg/L, 170 mg/L and 390 mg/L for fish, Daphnia and algae, respectively.
