Description of key information

The effective concentration (EC50) value of Piperazine compound with phosphoric acid in algae (Selenastrum capricornutum) on mortality effect was estimated to be 479.618  mg/L. Thus,considering the CLP Criteria for aquatic classification of the substance , it is concluded that Piperazine compound with phosphoric acid does not exhibit short term toxicity to aquatic algae.

However, since this chemical has a harmonized classification, of Aquatic Category 3, the same classification shall be used for the pupose of this dossier.
