Conclusion on classification

Short-term aquatic toxicity data are available for three trophic levels. The lowest observed acute effect concentration is a 48 -h EC50 value of 4.6 mg/L as derived from a study with aquatic invertebrates (D. magna). Long-term aquatic toxicity data are available from an algae study in which a 72 -h ErC10 value of 14.2 mg/L was derived. The substance is qualified as rapidly biodegradable. The log Kow value is determined at <4 (no experimentally determined BCF value is available). Based on all this information, the substance needs not be classified for the environment according to regulation EC/1272/2008 (CLP) or according to directive 67/548/EC (DSD).
