Conclusion on classification

Acute aquatic toxicity:

For both algae and daphnia the EC50 values were determined to be higher than 100 mg/L. In conclusion, the substance has not to be classified with regard to acute (short-term) toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the twelfth time in Regulation (EU) 2019/521.

 

Chronic aquatic toxicity:

For both algae and daphnia the EC50 values were determined to be higher than 100 mg/L. The 72-h EC10 value based on growth rate was also determined to be higher than 100 mg/L. Under the test conditions the percentage biodegradation of the test substance reached a mean of 6.5 % after 28 days based on its calculated ThODNH4. The test item can be considered to not be readily biodegradable. Thus, the substance has not to be classified for chronic (long-term) toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the twelfth time in Regulation (EU) 2019/521.
