Details on results:
For calibration the retention times of a series of "neutral" substances with known n-octanol/water partition coefficients were measured and a calibration graph according to equation was established.

The n-octanol/water partition coefficient of the test substance T-9601 was derived from its retention time and the calibration graph.
Conclusions:
The objective of this study was the determination of the partition coefficient n-octanol/water of the test substance T-9601 according to guideline 92/69/EEC, appendix, A.8. The study was conducted in compliance with the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice(GLP).
The partition coefficient n-octanol/water of the test substance T-9601 has been determined according to the "HPLC method" as:

log Pow = 4.3
Pow = 19953

Description of key information

The log Pow of the Substance was determined to be 4.3.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
4.3

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the test item was determined by the HPLC method according to the European Commission Regulations (EC) No. 440/2008, A.8. partition coefficient n-octanol/water.
