Description of key information

Calculated BCF values for representative streams within this category ranged from 314-1882.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The BCF of susbstances in this category were calculated by means of QSARs and the log kow of the stream (USEPA 2008 BCFBAF v.3.0 ). These calculated BCF values ranged from 314 -1882.

A study from MITI (1987) indicated BCF values for triisobutylene of 1210 -2700 at a concentration of 500microg/L and 920 -3340 at a concentration of 50 microg/L. Limited information was available for this study
