The acute toxicity to golden orfe (Leuciscus idus) of 4-[(2-chloroethyl)(ethyl)amino]benzaldehyde under static conditions was determined according to a national standard protocol (DIN 38412 L15).The LC50 (96 h) ranges between 2.2 – 4.6 mg/L.
