Description of key information

KS-235 is not biodegradable and meets the classification as being inherently biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
inherently biodegradable, not fulfilling specific criteria

Additional information

The test material attained 34% degradation after 28 days and therefore cannot be considered to be readily biodegradable under the strict terms and conditions of OECD Guideline No. 301B.

Degradation of 34% shows that the KS-235 is inherently biodegradable.
