Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

Only one sensitization study was available for evaluation. This study was a guideline study (reliability 1, with GLP).

Migrated from Short description of key information:
The key skin sensitisation study (Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, 2010), a reliable local lymph node assay conducted according to OECD 429, found no evidence of the induction of sensitization when the test material was applied to the ears of mice at up to 100%.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data do not support classification for skin sensitization (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008; Directive 67/548/EEC).
