Data on physical properties were obtained from experimental studies. The use of Klimisch codes (Klimisch et al., REGULATORY TOXICOLOGY AND PHARMACOLOGY 25, 1-5 (1997), was applied and a reliability code of (1) valid without restrictions was assigned. The partition coefficient was calculated because measurements should be made on ionizable substances only in their non-ionized form.

Review of the collated information indicates that L-cysteine is a powder with no hazardous physical-chemical properties.
