Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test material to Daphina magna was determined in a 48 hour static test according to the OECD Guideline for Testing Chemicals, No. 202; under GLP conditions. The nominal test material concentrations tested were 3.1, 6.3, 13, 25, 50 and 100 mg/l and a parallel control.

Exposure of daphnids to the test material resulted in a 48-hour EC50 of 48 mg/l (95% confidence interval = 39 to 58 mg/L) and a 48‑hour NOEC of 3.3 mg/l.
