Description of key information

Key study: Based on experimental data on the analogue 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol (CAS 128-39-2), the read-across approach is applied.
The self-ignition temperature is 375 ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Key study: Read-across approach. The substance CAS No. 128-39-2 is one of the main components of the Reaction mass of 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol and 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol and it is present in a concentration of more than 75%. Therefore, the results obtained with the substance CAS No. 128-39-2 can be used for the read-across approach.
