Description of key information

Log Koc = 4.2 -4.8 (based on Molecular Connectivity Index (MCI); KOCWIN v2.00)
Log Koc = 3.7 -4.3 (based on log Kow; KOCWIN v2.00)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No experimental data evaluating the adsorption potential of Glycerides, C8-18 and C18-unsatd. mono- and di-, acetates (CAS No. 91052-13-0) are available. Since the substance is a complex UVCB substance, QSAR estimations using the KOCWIN v2.00 program have been calculated for representative fatty acid components (C12 mono/diacetate and C14 mono/diacetate). Log Koc values range from 3.7 to 4.3 (log Kow method) and from 4.2 to 4.8 (MCI method) (Gebhardt, 2013).

Based on this information, the overall adsorption potential of Glycerides, C8-18 and C18-unsatd. mono- and di-, acetates is expected to be high.
