Description of key information

MMVF are poorly soluble in water and it is unlikely they cross biological membranes. If any dissolution occurs, the ions released by the substance are ions that naturally occur in pure water and therefore, the aquatic toxicity is unlikely to occur. So following Annex VII column 2, 9.1.1 the study does not need to be conducted.
