Description of key information

The boiling point was determined to be 239.8 °C ± 1.7 °C.

Additional information

This study was to evaluate the boiling point of test substance DL-Panthenol and it was carried out in accordance with the EEC Method A.2. and the OECD guideline no. 103. A test item with a 99.6 % purity was used.

The determination was performed using the DSC method (thermal analysis) and the boiling point was determined to be 239.8 °C ± 1.7 °C.
