Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data from a hydrolysis study are available. Testing has been waived in accordance with column 2 restrictions. The submission item is readily biodegradable (Clarke 2011, Harlan Report no. 41103271) and highly insoluble in water (Fox & White 2012, Harlan Report no. 41103263) and will therefore be present in environmental waters at irrelevantly low levels. Hydrolysis data are not required for the environmental fate and pathway assessment as it is deemed an irrelevant degradation mechanism. Due to its UVCB character the determination of hydrolytic stability seems technically not feasible as the analytical means for following the large number of parent compounds or detecting hydrolysis products are not available and cannot be with reasonable efforts developed. This would from a sufficient basis for waiving according to Annex XI, 2.
