Description of key information

No experimental data from studies on effects to terrestrial organisms are available. Testing has been waived in accordance with column 2 restrictions on the basis of exposure considerations. As no meaningful aquatic PNEC could be derived in absence of effects and the PEC can be expected to be irrelevantly low on the basis of the Environmental fate assessment, the CSA clearly suggests that the PEC/PNECscreen ratio will be irrelevantly low. Thus testing for effects of the submission item to soil organisms is deemed not necessary. Due to the absence of toxicity to the aquatic standard test organisms and in view of the sorption and fugacity properties, the submission item is deemed to possess no relevant toxic properties and the baseline toxicity assumption applies.
