EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
5.7 mg/L

Additional information

Acute toxicity to Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata of N, N-Dimethyldipropylentriamine has been investigated through OECD Guideline 201 and EU Method C.3 (Gancet, 2004). Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata were exposed for 72 hours to an aqueous solution of N, N-Dimethyldipropylentriamine at different nominal concentrations of 3, 5.6, 10.5, 20, 36.2 and 70 mg/L.

The EC50 - 72h values for cell growth and growth rate were 7.3 and 21 mg/L, respectively. The EC10 - 72h

values for cell growth and growth rate were 1.9 and 5.7 mg/L, respectively. All the validity criteria were fulfilled.
