Additional information

Sulfosuccinate of Lanolin Alcohol sample was tested according to the guideline A.5 Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 Part A and OECD Guideline No. 115. According to the method indications, the test item was tested at 90% of the saturation solubility in water, maintained at 20°C in the thermostatic liquid bath and then tested for six replicates.

It can be concluded that the surface tension at (± 0.5°C) of the aqueous solution at 90% of its saturation is 38.9 mN/m.

According to the interpretation of the results suggested in the method CR (EC) A.5, point 3.2, the Sulfosuccinate of Lanolin Alcohol sample should be regarded as a surface-active material.
