Additional information

Acute aquatic toxicity studies are available for all three trophic levels.

In an acute toxicity test on fish (Brachydanio rerio) a LC50 > 100 mg/l was detected. The EC50 determined in an acute toxicity study on Daphnie magna was > 100 mg/l. The EC50 for alge was determined to be > 100 mg/L test substance as well. Therefore, acute toxic effects of the substance to aquatic organisms are not expected.

In a respiration inhibition test with activated sludge an EC50 > 1000 mg/l was determined.

All tests were run with concentrations above the water solubility of the substance. Thus, no effects in the range of the water solubility of the substance were determined.

Chronic aquatic toxicity studies are not available.
