Any other information on results incl. tables

A preliminary test was performed to check the approximate freezing temperature of Dehydrolinalool. The test item was stored 24 hours at -25 °C in a freezer. As the sample was not frozen after this time the freezing temperature of Dehydrolinalool must be below -25 °C.

During the main tests, about 3 mL and 4 mL, respectively, of the test item placed in a small test tube were cooled down from room temperature to about -72 °C using a dry ice and acetone mixture. The test item increased in viscosity but was still movable. Therefore, no clear freezing point could be determined within the temperature range between 20 °C and ¿72 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:

The aim of this study was to determine the freezing point/range of Dehydrolinalool.

The test item did not freeze under the conditions of the test.
Executive summary:

Dehydrolinalool did not freeze under the conditions of this test (temperature range investigated: 20 °C to -72 °C). Therefore, the freezing point might be below -72 °C.
