Description of key information

Not readily biodegradable; may be inherently biodegradable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
inherently biodegradable, not fulfilling specific criteria

Additional information

No ready biodegradability was observed. The test item showed an inherent biodegradation between 12.4% to 27.3% (mean 17.5%). However, analysis of the test item at the end of the 28 days study period, only 8% of the test material could be recovered. The test item seems to be subject to abiotic degradation (92% in 28 days).
