Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The water solubility of ZK 90504 was determined in "pretest quality" to be

0.006 g/L

using a screening method based on the detection of the beginning of precipitate formation upon

portion-wise addition of an organic solution of the respective test substance under continuous

stirring into an excess volume of water while maintaining a temperature range of 25 to 30 °C.

Due to the specifics of the screening method, the above value is expected to represent an upper

limit which should not be exceeded by the test substance in its crystalline form.

The solubility of ZK 90504 is well below the lower limit set by the VCI guidance of 0.1 g/l.

Therefore no further measurements are necessary within the scope of this study.

ZK 90504 is to be considered as practically insoluble or insoluble in water.
