L-Proline is not expected to hydrolyze in the environment.

Additional information

L-Proline is not expected to undergo hydrolysis in the environment due to the lack of functional groups that hydrolyze under environmental conditions.

L-Proline is readily biodegradable. In accordance with REACH Annex VIII No. 9.2.2.1 column 2, the study "Hydrolysis as a function of pH" does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable.
