Description of key information

The following study was provided as the key study for the data requirement boiling point:
Baerlocher GmbH (2010) Test report, physio-chemcal data, test substance dibutyltin bismethylmaleate. Testing laboratory: Baerlocher GmbH Research and Analytics Department, Freisinger Str. 1, D-85716 Unterschleissheim, Germany. Report date: 2010-04-21
The boiling point of dibutyltin bismethylmaleate was determined using differential scanning calorimetry according to regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, A.2. No boiling point was observed, decomposition occurred at > 230 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Value used for CSA:

No boiling point was observed, decomposition occurred at > 230 °C.

A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to the key study, Baerlocher GmbH (2010), according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the study was conducted in-house, in accordance with recognised guidelines.
