Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex IX, section 9.2.1.2 and section 9.2.1.4, no study on biodegradation in water and sediment needs to be conducted if the test substance is biodegradable under enhanced conditions. 2 -Propenoic acid, docosyl esters are all biodegradable under enhanced conditions. Thus no futher biodegradation testing in water and sediment is required.
