Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is hydrolytically stable at pH values 4, 7, 8 and 9 with half lifes of > 1 year.

The substance was tested for ready biodegradability and enhanced ready biodegradability under OECD 301 test design. Based on the results of the tests performed, the substance can not be considered as readily biodegradable in the strict sense of the guidelines, since average biodegradation did not pass the trigger of 60%. Though all results obtained on day 28 (OECD 301) were between 43% and 54% of ultimate biodegradation, in one case a replicate reached 61%. This means that the substance has the potential for ready bidoegradability. Results of enhanced biodegradation studies show, that more than 60% of the substance was ultimately degraded within 60 days of incubation under OECD 301 test design. Hence, though the substance is not readily biodegradable in the strict sense of the TGD, it can show ready biodegradation, and it is not considered persistent in the environment based on enhanced OECD 301 testing.

Koc was estimated using the KOCWIN™ v2.00 module of EPI Suite™ v.4.11. KOCWIN™. The resulting value is 44.47 L/kg, which corresponds to a Log Koc of 1.65.

The BCF of 9.33 L/kg indicates that the substance is not bioaccumulative and hence bioaccumulation is of no concern.
