Description of key information

Ethyllinalool is readily biodegradable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

Ethyllinalool undergoes 91 % biodegradation after 28 days in the test conditions. Biodegradation starts on day 4 and reaches 82% at the end of the 10- day window (day 4 to day 14). Thus, Ethyllinalool should be regarded as readily biodegradable.
