In accordance with Annex I (4.1) and XIII of the REACH Regulation (as amended), PBT assessment is not required as the substance is inorganic. Only the naturally occurring inorganics fluoride, lithium and phosphorus/phosphate could persist following any environmental release of LiPF6 and in each case no foreseeable emission scenario could add significantly to the naturally occurring levels of these substances in water or soil.
